Submission of abstracts
In order to submit an abstract, please register first, using the following link.
The text of the abstract can be written directly in the form on the web page or can be uploaded there in .doc or .pdf file.
Instruction for authors
Authors of abstracts accepted by the Footbridge 2011 Scientific Committee are kindly asked to prepare corresponding full length paper (10 pages maximum) and final abstract (2 pages). Each of the document should be prepared using Microsoft Office Word 2003 or 2007 version strictly according to the appropriate template given below:
Authors are requested to submit the full length paper, as well as the final abstract not later than Februrary 28, 2011 in electronic version only - both in .doc and .pdf format. Final paper acceptance will depend upon the review of the manuscript by the Footbridge 2011 Scientific Committee.
Submission of full papers
To submit the final version of your paper please, log in to your account in the Conftool system using the link:
go to ‘Your Submissions’ part and select ‘Final Upload’ option (marked with a yellow background). Then you need to fill in the form with additional data and upload 2 files in .pdf format: extended abstract and full paper. Names of the files should be consisted of abbreviation ‘ABS’ for the extended abstract or ‘PAP’ for the full paper, surname of the first author and Paper ID given in the Conftool system, according to the example:
ABS_Surname_Paper ID.pdf or PAP_Surname_Paper ID.pdf
Together with submission of the files to the Conftool system, 2 files of the same extended abstract and full paper in .doc format must be uploaded using the link below giving the following data for logging in:
Username: footbridge2011
Password: upload11
Names of the .doc files should be given in the same way as .pdf files, according to the example:
ABS_Surname_Paper ID.doc or PAP_Surname_Paper ID.doc
Oral presentation
The presentation should not exceed 12 minutes. Three additional minutes are left for discussion. These time limits should be strictly obeyed. Your presentation should be prepared in PowerPoint.
Poster presentation
The poster should be prepared according to the appropriate template given below:

Conference book
The Scientific Committee accepted 162 papers from 38 countries for presentation during the conference, including 7 keynote lectures prepared by recognized specialists invited by the Organizing Committee. The Conference Proceedings consist of the hardcover Conference Book of abstracts (447 pages) and CD with full papers (1401 pages). To order the Conference Proceedings please contact Footbridge 2011 Secretariat (footbridge2011@pwr.wroc.pl). The price for one Conference Book with CD is 75 EUR + cost of delivery.
